Emma's lesson update from Coach Zahra

Emma had a fantastic lesson on Saturday! We started with some fun bubble-making and then moved through front crawl and back crawl - she's really getting the hang of these strokes. Emma also worked on kneeling dives with my help and practiced somersaults, showing great enthusiasm for trying new skills in the water.

— Zahra

Skills Progress (Swimmer Level 3):

Worked on this lesson:

Kneeling dive into deep water - great progress!
Front crawl (15 m) - mastered!
Flutter kick on back (5 m) - mastered!
Back crawl (15 m) - great progress!

Coming up next:

☆ Forward roll entry into deep water

☆ Front somersault (in water)

This is a real update. You'll get one just like it after every lesson.

The difference is night and day

Most swim programs

  • Report card after 8-10 weeks
  • Generic comments: "doing well" or "needs work"
  • No idea what they're actually learning
  • New instructor = starting over
  • Can't help practice at home
  • No detailed skills breakdown

Inspired Swim

  • Personal update after every lesson
  • Specific details: what they did, how they did
  • Star ratings for every skill
  • Sub coach? They read the notes first
  • Know exactly what to practice at home
  • Full progress report card at end of each set

Progress that never gets lost

Every lesson builds on the last. Here's why that matters:

Coach celebrating a swimming milestone with a young swimmer

Substitute coach filling in?

They read the notes first. No awkward "so what are we working on?" — they already know she mastered front crawl and is working on kneeling dives.

Took a 3-week vacation?

Your coach picks up exactly where you left off. No wasted lessons re-assessing. She knows Emma was at 4 stars on back crawl.

Want to help at home?

Bath time becomes practice time. You know what to work on, so when she does it, you can genuinely celebrate.
